Nassu Cakes is a small custom-cake studio in Banjara Hills. We're a tiny team — three bakers, one decorator, a delivery rider who knows every shortcut to Gachibowli. We don't do catalogue cakes. Every order starts with a conversation, usually on WhatsApp, often at midnight.

Our whole menu is available eggless and our oven runs eggless by default — vegetarian guests at the table is the norm in Hyderabad, and we built around that from day one. We turn down orders we can't finish on time. No frozen layers, no rushed bakes, no "it'll be fine."

We get bored if we make the same cake twice. That's the whole pitch.

Ordering & Lead Time

For custom designs, 48 hours is the minimum. Wedding tiers need three weeks — there's a fitting, a sketch round, and the actual baking takes two days alone.

If it's a simple flavour from our regular menu, sometimes yes. WhatsApp us — if we have the ingredients ready, we'll say yes within an hour.

Cancel 72 hours out, full refund. Inside 48 hours we keep 50% — the ingredients are bought, the design's done. Inside 24 hours, no refund. We hate writing this paragraph but it's fair.

Eggless & Allergens

Our oven runs eggless by default. Every cake on this site can be made eggless with no charge and no change in taste. We've been doing it eight years — the recipes are solid.

Vegan yes, with a couple of days notice. Dairy-free for severe allergies — we'll talk through it on the phone before confirming, since our kitchen handles dairy.

We can use stevia or jaggery for diabetic-friendly cakes. The texture changes a little, but most people don't notice in a chocolate or coffee cake.

Delivery in Hyderabad

Free in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Gachibowli, Hitec City, Kondapur. Anywhere else inside the ORR — we charge actuals, usually $3–6.

Yes, from the Banjara Hills studio. We'll send a pin and a window. Saturdays are busy — pickup before noon if you can.

We assemble tiered cakes on-site at the venue. Three tiers and up, the decorator drives with it personally. We've done venues from Falaknuma to backyard sangeets.

Custom Design Process

WhatsApp us a reference photo or description. We reply with a quote and a sketch within a day. You confirm, pay 50%, and we bake. Final 50% on delivery.

We can take inspiration. Exact replicas of another bakery's signature work feels off, so we'll usually offer something close that's our own version. You'll see the sketch first.

Yes — hand-modelled, edible. Cartoon characters, animals, mini-people. Add 48 hours to the lead time for figure work.
